Here's what you'll learn in this fun Hands-On Workshop:
PREPPING CLIENTS SKIN: Review of skin cleaners, moisturizers, prepping barriers, etc. Skin shaving requirements and safety.
PRODUCTS AND TOOLS: Overview of products used to created a variety of prosthetics including foam latex, encapsulated silicone and pros aide transfers. Items needed to glue down, blend and apply each type of prosthetic.
APPLICATION TECHNIQUES AND PROCEDURE: Demo time will allow for learners to see techniques applied to model while reviewing and learning the steps to prep, apply, blend, seal, paint and finish the character.
PAINTING TECHNIQUES: Demo will review how to properly apply a variety of prosthetics using PAX paint, water activated body cakes, alcohol palettes and airbrush painting techniques. When to use each one and techniques to enhance the prosthetics.
REMOVAL TECHNIQUES: Learners will see how and what products are best used to remove prosthetics while maintaining healthy skin and keeping your clients happy. (Entire instructor demo 1-‐2 hours)
IN CLASS WORK: Learners will apply a prosthetic provided by instructor to a model they (learner) supplies or self apply to themselves. This allows for more time to perfect application and paint jobs. (2-3 hours) Images will be taken by instructor for use in learners portfolio

Meet the Instructor:
Jasmine Ringo is an award winning makeup artist, recently taking home the title of champion for the first ever premiere of Game Face on SYFY channel, as well as appearing on Season 9 and All Stars season of Face Off.
She has been working as a professional makeup artist and educator for 14 years, starting in Las Vegas, NV and recently relocating to Atlanta, GA. Her skill range is vast and covers all aspects of beauty, body painting and special FX makeup. Airbrushing may just be her specialty along with merging the work of beauty and FX to broaden both genres and educate on the importance of knowing both.
